Located two blocks away from the most famous beach of Brazil, the Astoria Copacabana Hotel has a privileged and strategic location: it is located near the Cardeal Arcoverde subway station, on the most important touristic spot of Rio de Janeiro, with theatres, cinemas, banks, stores, boutiques and restaurants all within reach of a short distance walk. Besides that, the hotel lies on a quiet and arborous street.
It is very difficult for people who visit Rio to resist to its 80km of beaches. Copacabana, with its Atlântica Avenue beautiful sidewalk in black and white mosaic, forming its famous waves, is the major responsible for this fascination.
In fact, there are two beaches: Leme and Copacabana, with an extension of 4,5 km. Frequently visited both days and nights, the beach has kiosks, bike way, rescue posts with shower and bathrooms, hotels, bars and restaurants. It also has two military fortifications opened to visitation, one in each extreme of the beach, with beautiful panoramic views.
